Don't Fear God, Love God .
Many of us grow up hearing, "God will punish you if you do wrong." We are taught to fear lightning, bad luck, and divine anger. We light lamps not out of love, but out of fear that something bad will happen if we don’t. But is that the real purpose of faithπ€π€
True spirituality was never meant to be a prison of fear. It was meant to be a source of strength. Think of God, or the Universe, or Daiva, not as a strict headmaster with a cane, waiting to catch your mistakes. Think of that energy as a parent. A good parent doesn't want their child to live in terror. A parent wants the child to be good, to be kind, and to be brave because they understand what is right, not because they are scared of a beating.π
Fear makes you a slave. Love makes you a devotee. When you do something good out of fear, there is no joy in it. You are just ticking a box to avoid punishment. But when you do the same good deed out of love and gratitude for life, you feel peace. That peace is the real blessing. The Bhagavad Gita says, "Perform your duty without attachment to the results." Fear is an attachment to a negative result. Faith is the freedom to do your best and leave the rest.π
So, the next time you pray, don't bargain or beg out of fear. Talk like you would to your best friend. Say thank you for this life. Ask for the strength to face challenges. God doesn’t need your fear; the world needs your courage. A person who is not afraid of God is not an atheist. They are someone who trusts God so completely that fear has no place left.π€
Let your faith be your wings, not your chains. Don't be scared of the dark. Be the lamp.π₯°
